Gregg Bauer painting

Gregg is both a fine artist and a graphic designer working out of Atlanta area.

His career in graphic design has spanned 40 years with ad agency work that includes CNN, the Cartoon Network, Major League Baseball, the Atlanta Symphony, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, and the iconic Varsity and Mary Mac’s Tea Room restaurants.
For over a decade he was an adjunct professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) on their Atlanta campus in their Advertising Design department. There he enjoyed working with some of the most creative minds from around the world.

All along the way, Gregg has always been creating watercolors and pastels of landscapes and portraits. Five years ago he began painting in acrylics and oils.

Gregg has created artwork of local landscapes from around Georgia including Cumberland Island which he has visited frequently. Growing up in Ohio, he has done paintings of its rolling hills and Amish countryside. His travels to the Cape Cod area, Europe and Brazil have also served as subjects for his paintings and sketches. Most recently his focus has been on the Chattahoochee River area. Over the years he has participated in numerous art shows in the Atlanta area.

Gregg has done portraits of both people and pets, and is available for commissions. Some existing work is available in limited edition prints. Click here for more information.
